Episode 97 Transcript – Trick for zero down at Termessos Turkey

This is Jessi Johnson live from Teremessos, Turkey. I’m about to show you something really cool. First I’m going to talk about how to do a zero down mortgage without having to pay zero down interest rates. If you want to do zero down I can do it but you’re looking at a point and a half to two points higher on interest rates which you want to try to avoid. You get 5% gifted, I’ll explain it if you want to call me, but to cut it short they essentially give you 5% but you pay for it and almost double that in a higher interest rate. The trick to avoid that is to go ahead and get yourself a line of credit and take your line of credit, put it in your bank account and let it sit there for three months. You obviously would declare it when you’re doing your liabilities. What happens after three months is it is technically considered your money and now you can use it without having to pay a higher interest rate. Pretty cool trick. I’m at probably the coolest place I’ve ever been in my entire life. I’m with my fiancée traveling over around Turkey and we met this gentleman at the hotel who offered to give us a ride to Teremessos which is this two and a half to three thousand year old ancient ruin in Turkey. If you can see we just spent an hour climbing. The mountains here are just absolutely unbelievable. As we turn around if you look in here, this is a massive amphitheatre. Check this out. Say hello! [Hello!] I can see you! I’m coming, I’m coming! I guess in there, there’s a little room in there and that’s where they had whoever was battling or performing come out. There are some spots up on the sides there, benches, that’s where the royalty sat. There’s our tour guide. I can’t remember his name. Just an outstanding guy. This whole experience in Turkey has probably been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I’ve been to a fair amount of places in my time and literally it’s like being in heaven. I’ve been all over the world, well getting there. Trip by trip. But the Turkish people are the kindest people I’ve ever met. Anywhere I’ve gone hands down. They do anything they can to help you out. Go to Turkey. It’s amazing. We’re in Antalya now, we’re going to Bodrum to rock out to some house music. Check out some more ruins in Ephesus, I think it’s pronounced.
