Episode 81 Transcript – Growing up and Harris’s engagement

Hello! You’re live with Jessi Johnson and what I wanted to talk about today was the importance of growing up. I’m finding a lot of people I used to know from back in the day are still in the same place they were ten years ago. I kind of find that a little depressing to be totally honest with you. Change, growing up, maturing, all this is really important and crucial to life. Right now I’m finding all my really tight friends are either getting engaged, already married or having one or two children. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I’m feeling left behind. I’m not ready for marriage yet, but doesn’t mean I won’t be anytime soon. My thoughts are today, I used to have a lot of fun in the clubs and stay out until the wee hours but that was awhile ago and you’ve got to grow up. I’ve just turned 29. I’m getting old! My brother from another, Harris, got engaged to his girlfriend, Myra, last night. We’re going to go surprise them if we can find them. Say hello everybody! Why are we here today?
