Good evening! You are here live with Jessi Johnson and probably one of the greatest events of my life is taking place right now. No, I’m not getting married! I’m with my beautiful girlfriend Janakie and we’re here watching television. It is about 8pm, November 4th, 2008 and Barack Obama is about to win the US Presidential election which is amazing! We have a bottle of champagne. Coming from the horrific reign of George Bush to this is a night and day reflection of what is about to come in the future. Do you have any comments honey? [No.] Either than wiping the tears from your eyes. [I think it's poignant what was just read out on CNN about today, Martin Luther King one day said we would see the Promise Land and that for a lot of African Americans this is very close to reaching that Promise Land.] Well spoken.
