My biggest thing on Twitter is I don’t sit here and try to sell my company all day long. What I do instead is I know a lot of tricks that the average person doesn’t know by reading books, by simply listening to people, checking out other written or video blogs; that’s all I really do all day long. I try to relay that back to everybody and position myself as the expert in hopes that people will choose me when it comes to their mortgage-related questions and transactions. My suggestion for you, if you are self-employed and want to get followed on Twitter, all I recommend doing is be yourself, don’t sell your business all day long, and you’ll do just fine.
